     Bobby (Bob) Dee Revels, 77, born in New Hall, California on February 10th 1937 to Charles Edwin Revels and Nova Lucille Tubbs Revels, passed away on January 17th, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, one brother (Max Revels), one sister (Donna Lou).
     Bob and his family moved to Oklahoma when he was 3 years old and he graduated from Rogers High School. He joined the Army in April of 1959 and stayed through June of 1963 when he went to the Air Force. He served proudly until July of 1966. Bob met the love of his life, Judith Vann Johnson, on a blind date. They were married on July 19, 1968 in Muskogee, OK. Bob spent 13 years with Braniff Airlines and another 25 years with Oil Capitol Electric before retiring in 2006.
     He enjoyed all athletic events at Union Public Schools, sometimes working security, and attending all of his grandchildrenís activities. He loved spending time at his lake house at Grand Lake with his wife and family. He also enjoyed watching college football, especially his Oklahoma Sooners. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
     Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith Vann Johnson Revels, his only daughter Katrina Gail Philpot, son-in-law Jarrett Wesley Philpot, two precious grandchildren, Delani Vann Philpot and Dillan McCain Philpot, adopted son Dominique Dawan Franks, sister Dotty Edens and her husband Wyley , sister-in-law Electra Lashley and husband, Ronnie, in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
     A time of visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening, January 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Dighton-Moore Funeral Service, 116 N. Main St., Owasso, OK 74055.
     Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, 100 W Albany, Broken Arrow, OK 74012. Please direct any flowers to Dighton-Moore Funeral Service. Contributions can be made in Bobís memory to Street Cats, 6520 E. 60th Street, Tulsa, OK 74145 or American Diabetes Association.
     Funeral Services were entrusted to Dighton-Moore Funeral Service of Owasso, OK.
